COLOMBO – All educational activities related to the upcoming G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination will officially cease tonight, as the Department of Examinations enforces its annual pre-exam ban.

• The Restriction: All tuition classes, seminars, workshops, and revision classes targeting the 2025 A/L examination must conclude by midnight tonight (November 3rd).

• Duration: The ban will remain in effect until the conclusion of the examination period.

• Examination Dates: The G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to commence on November 10th and run until December 5th. The directive is intended to provide students with a distraction-free environment for final private study.
