
Abdul Razak M. Muzammil, an Asset Management and CAFM Systems professional from
Trincomalee District, has become the first Sri Lankan to be officially listed on the World
Partners in Asset Management (WPiAM) global registry as a CAMA² (Certified Asset
Management Assessor) certificant. This achievement has been formally confirmed by WPiAM,
marking a significant milestone for Sri Lanka in the global asset management community.
Muzammil, who hails from Pudawaikkattu, Kuchchaveli, currently serves as the Assets & CAFM
Manager at Jeddah International Airport, where he leads asset governance, CAFM system
management, performance optimisation, maintenance planning, and 24/7 Work Control Centre
operations. His career spans major international airports in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dubai, and Qatar
Foundation projects, with expertise in ISO 55000aligned asset management, digital
transformation, and infrastructure performance improvement.
A graduate of the University of Westminster, United Kingdom, Muzammil has been recognised
for his contributions to enhancing operational reliability, strengthening KPI performance, and
advancing datadriven asset management practices in highvolume aviation environments.
His achievement not only brings pride to his hometown of Kuchchaveli but also positions Sri
Lanka on the global map of certified asset management professionals. WPiAM’s confirmation of
his status as the country’s first CAMA² certificant highlights Sri Lanka’s growing presence in
internationally accredited professional domains.
